On December 14, the Gathering for Open Science Hardware (GOSH) Community is hosting a coworking session to record the progress of their Roadmap, share achievements, and provide a space for various Open Science Hardware (OScH) initiatives to work together on actions.
As part of this session, the Open Science Shop will lead a breakout room dedicated to our collective progress and plans for the future. We invite those of you interested in finding out more about the Open Science Shop to join us for this coworking session at 4 pm UTC on December 14.
What is the Gathering for Open Science Hardware (GOSH)?
GOSH is a global community of researchers, hardware developers, educators, community scientists, and more dedicated to making OScH ubiquitous by 2025. One of the hallmarks of the GOSH Community is its annual Global Gatherings, which are held all around the world! If you’d like to know more about the GOSH Community, check out our about page.
More information on the GOSH Roadmap coworking session
In 2017, over 100 members of the GOSH Community wrote the GOSH Roadmap, which lays out concrete actions to make OScH ubiquitous by 2025. To celebrate the progress made with the Roadmap and provide a space to continue working on actions, the GOSH Community is hosting a Roadmap coworking session. The session will showcase several projects, such as the Open Science Shop, and give each one a chance to lead their own breakout room, where they will work in small groups on their projects.
